Merrell footwear
I recently picked up a new pair of trail shoes and hiking boots from this awesome outdoor gear company. Let me tell you, these shoes are like walking on clouds and tough as nails, perfect for all my backpacking trips. I also lead a backpacking club in town, and every member rocks these shoes on our outings because they're just that good. The Vibram soles give killer grip on the trails, keeping us safe and having a blast. Sure, there's a few haters out there with negative reviews, but for me, these shoes have been nothing but awesome. I've had a pair of barefoot shoes from this company for the last 6 years, and they're still going strong with no major wear and tear. Bottom line, if you love the outdoors like I do, you gotta check out this company and their gear.
Forestbound shoes purchase
I've been wearing hiking shoes for a while now, but recently decided to try out the Forestbound shoes because my usual Merrell Moab 2 shoes weren't available in my size. Let me tell you, I was really impressed with how well the Forestbound shoes performed. Some people might not be into the leather uppers, but I personally found them to be super durable and way more waterproof than I expected. The soles with the heavier lug gave me awesome traction on the muddy trails I like to walk my dog on. These shoes handled all sorts of conditions no problem, and they fit like a dream. Overall, if you're looking for a solid walking or hiking shoe that goes above and beyond regular hiking shoes but is comfier than boots, the Forestbound shoes are definitely worth checking out.
£300 worth of footwear
I spent $300 on shoes from this company. It took forever for them to even ship out my order, so by the time the shoes arrived, I was already in Cumbria. And to top it off, they delivered the shoes to a UPS pickup spot, then sent it back to the company. Even with all that mess, they still wouldn't give me a refund when they got the shoes back. Plus, they wouldn't admit fault when I tried to get a chargeback from the bank. It's just really awful and totally not cool for them to act this way.
Hiking boots quality issue
I bought a pair of women's hiking boots just under three years ago, and I've only worn them occasionally for walking on public footpaths. To my dismay, I noticed a split in the right boot near the toe, making my foot wet every time I wear them. I'm bummed that there's no warranty on the boots, and I can't seem to find a way to file a complaint. Even though the boots weren't cheap, I think the quality is lacking.
Walking shoes purchase
I bought a pair of walking shoes from this brand not too long ago, and I have to say, it's been a pretty disappointing experience. The quality of the shoes is just not up to par - after only wearing them regularly for a few months, the upper started tearing and the sole even came off. It's really frustrating, especially since this brand is known for being top-notch and their products aren't cheap.
Expensive sandals
I splurged on these hella expensive open sandals and man, they cost me a pretty penny. But after a year and a half, the sole started splitting in three spots. I've got pics to back it up, too. No way am I going for those sandals again. Gonna stick to Sports Direct where stuff is more affordable and durable. 😪
Waterproof boots
These boots were supposed to be waterproof, but they aren't at all! I took a short walk through some wet grass and my feet were totally soaked. The description promised they'd be waterproof, but that's definitely not true. They seem more like a fashion choice now rather than a proper outdoor walking shoe. I contacted customer support, but they weren't much help. They mentioned they'd check if it was a manufacturing problem, but it's pretty obvious it's just a matter of poor quality and design.
Winter moccasins
I've been into winter moccasins for a while now and always made sure to get some good quality ones. But man, my latest pair was a major letdown. The leather on the shoe started coming apart from the sole after just a few months of wearing them. And to top it off, the pull-up strap on one of them ripped off with hardly any use. I tried reaching out to customer support for help, but they pretty much brushed off my complaints. So, I've decided to steer clear of this brand from now on after this bad experience.
Expensive boots falling apart in 9 months
So, these boots that I dropped a ton of money on? Total fail. Wore them for only 9 months and they literally fell apart - had massive rips on the inside that were as long as my finger. Complete waste. I was expecting top-notch quality from a big name, but turns out they're way off their game. Supposed to last for years, my men's moab2 gtx boots are already garbage after hardly any wear.
Expensive walking shoes
As a customer, I bought a pricey pair of walking shoes for my upcoming vacation, hoping for comfort while exploring. But, after just a bit of walking, they started hurting my heels real bad, and the pain stuck around even when I got back home. This ongoing discomfort is a major letdown, especially since I've had better luck with cheaper brands in the past. So, I'm thinking about contacting the company to let them know about my issues and hopefully find a solution.
Chameleon boots (November 2020)
I bought these Chameleon boots back in November 2020, thinking they would hold up well since they're known for being durable. But man, after only 3 years of occasional wear (a little hiking, dealing with some mud, rain, and snow), I was shocked to see the soles had cracked. Like, really? Both boots cracked in the exact same spot on the sole. I've been trying to glue them back together to save some money, but I'm super let down by the quality of these boots. This will definitely be the last time I buy from this brand.
Delayed Order with Poor Customer Service
I recently bought a pair of shoes from (Company) and it was a total disappointment. The delivery was late and the customer service was not helpful at all. I really like their products, but the way their customer service reps handled things was not great. My package got delayed by the shipping company, and when I tried to get help from (Company), the reps I talked to didn't seem to care about my concerns. I had to wait on hold for a long time only to get disconnected, and when I finally talked to someone, they just brushed off my issue and said they couldn't make the delivery faster. The lack of urgency and empathy from the customer service team was really bad, and it left me frustrated and unsatisfied with my shopping experience overall.
Shoes
I bought a pair of shoes from your site not too long ago and I gotta say, I'm not too happy with the quality. The shoes looked awesome at first, but the toe piece is all messed up. It's made of some cheap material that's already cracking and tearing after just a little bit of wear. I've been trying to reach out to customer service and send in some pics to show them the damage, but I can't find a way to do it. It's been really frustrating dealing with this.
