Call answering service
As a customer who uses a call answering service and other services from this company, I have to say their customer service is top-notch. They always respond quickly and are ready to help with any questions or issues I might have. I really like that they take the time to guide me through the setup process and make sure I feel good about the service. The only thing I think they could work on is their user interface. It's a bit tough to figure out and not as easy to use as I'd prefer. It's taken me a while to get the hang of it.
Quick setup techs
Man, let me tell you, RingCentral techs are on a whole other level compared to other phone company techs. They're quick and efficient, and they actually know what they're doing. It's such a relief because with other phone companies, I'd be on the phone for what felt like forever, only to end up with a setup that I wasn't even happy with. And don't even get me started on the settings changing randomly without me even touching anything!
Technical support via phone
After dealing with that useless chatbot, I decided to give the London RingCentral number a call for some tech support. Thankfully, they were able to fix my problem pretty quickly. It's frustrating that the chatbot is so unhelpful and doesn't get things done. Oh, and I also found out the important lesson that when setting up a new phone, you gotta plug it straight into the router for it to work properly - using a switch won't cut it.
Cloud phone system purchase.
Every time I call customer service, I always get great support. The reps are really patient and know their stuff. They always know how to calm me down when I'm feeling frustrated. They take their time to answer all my questions without making me feel rushed. I really appreciate their professionalism and how dedicated they are to helping me out.
Yearly contracts, poor customer service
Don't even think about it! Those yearly contracts and lousy customer service will devour you. I thought it would be a good idea to sign up, but man was I mistaken. The customer service was no help at all, and I ended up feeling stuck in a contract that I couldn't escape from. Do yourself a favor and search elsewhere for your communication services.
Contract terms
Be careful if you're thinking about signing a contract with this company. I had a bad time when they automatically renewed my two-year contract without asking me first. It seems unfair that customers have to remember a 30-day window to renegotiate their contract after two years, or else they're stuck in another two-year agreement. It would be nice if the company reached out to offer discounts or promotions when contracts are up for renewal. I've asked for a call from their contract department to talk about this problem more and I'll update my review after that conversation.
Easy setup, reliable service, zero downtime.
I really love how simple it was to get everything set up, and I've had absolutely no issues with the service since day one. It's been totally reliable.
Unnecessary Charges
I've had the worst luck with getting billed for a canceled account not just once, but two years straight. Even though I canceled right away and never really used the account, they still went ahead and charged my credit card. Dealing with this level of ineptitude and disregard for customer service is beyond frustrating. I'm done wasting my time trying to reach them - I'm just going to go straight to my credit card company to dispute these charges.
VoIP phone system purchase
I just got a VoIP phone system, and dealing with this company has been a total nightmare. The extensions don't work right at all, and don't even get me started on the account reps - they're totally clueless. Every time I request to speak with a supervisor about the problems, they never follow through or call me back. The lack of professionalism and communication is really getting on my nerves.
Horrible experience
I had the worst experience with this company, it was a total nightmare. The customer service was terrible, nobody seemed to know what they were doing. The billing was sketchy and the communication was a mess. Every time I called, I got bounced around from one person to another, constantly having to explain my problem. And to top it off, some of the solutions they suggested just made things worse. It was just a terrible experience all around.
Ring Central Reviews
We decided to try out Ring Central on our boss's recommendation, and man, it was a disaster. The calls sounded so robotic and we could hardly make out what our clients were saying. The call quality was terrible no matter where we were, even with desk phones. After 11 days of not being able to hear anything from our clients, we had enough and said goodbye to Ring Central. And now they want to charge us $3600 for leaving early - no thanks, not happening.
Account issues
Oh my gosh, these people are seriously the worst! My family has been with them for so long, but when we came back after leaving for a bit, it was a total disaster. When I started handling the bills, I realized they were charging us twice for the same phone number! They were trying to make us pay a ton to cancel the old contract, even though they had already taken so much money from us. Every time I tried to get it fixed, they would promise to call me back but never did. And they "forgot" to mention the old account when we returned, so they've been happily taking our money without a care. Be careful with these scammers, seriously!
Deceptive call recording deletion
I was totally shocked when I found out that the company deleted my call recordings without even asking me. I had been using their mobile app to save my incoming and outgoing calls for more than 2 years, but I recently realized that they only kept recordings for 90 days. That is just not cool, and I feel really let down after being a loyal customer for 5 years. When I reached out to the customer service reps, they weren't helpful at all. I was put on hold for what felt like forever, and they didn't offer any solutions. So now, I'm taking legal action against the company for mishandling my call recordings and not taking my concerns seriously.
Deceptive sales tactics
I feel like I was totally scammed by the sales team at this company. They sold me on all these amazing deals and perks, but as soon as I committed, I realized it was all a big fat lie. Their contracts are super strict, so leaving means you gotta fork over some serious cash. It's like they lure you in and then lock you down tight. Don't fall for their tricks and false guarantees, folks. Watch out!
Awful customer service experience
I wouldn't recommend going with this company for your communication needs. They're just not good. Every time I've needed help, I get the same response, "I don't know." You end up getting transferred to different departments, and it feels like nobody really knows what's going on. It's been a total mess! I should've checked out the reviews before choosing to work with them. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company.
Virtual phone service
The virtual phone service I got was a total letdown. Had so many problems using it, couldn't even communicate properly. The support team was no help at all, couldn't fix anything. And don't even get me started on the SMS messaging - such a mess because of the company's own incompetence. It was just plain frustrating, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
