Repeat customer
I keep coming back to this company because their products are top-notch. The cases I've gotten in the past have been tough and lasted a long time. However, my latest order had a few cases with some raised parts on them, so I'm wondering if they'll be as sturdy as my old ones. Despite this hiccup, overall, Pela cases have been tough and dependable. I can drop my phone without worry, thanks to the protection the case provides. One thing I'd suggest for improvement is for them to think about opening a store in Europe or the UK. It would cut down on shipping distances and match up better with their eco-friendly image.
BPA-free phone case purchase
The customer service at this company is really top-notch. I had a question about the material of their cases and got a quick response in just minutes. The case itself surpassed what I was expecting - it's soft, sleek, and not too bulky. I recently made a purchase as a customer and was pretty bummed out to find out about these sneaky custom fees that weren't mentioned clearly when I checked out. I had to dig deep into the website to even find any info about them! It would have been way better if they were upfront about it to avoid any surprises, especially for folks from other countries outside the EU. It's common for companies in the USA or Canada to just include those fees in the checkout price, which I think is a much more transparent way to do things. Unfortunately, this company didn't do that, so I wouldn't recommend buying from them if you're thinking about it.
Magnetic phone case
I was really disappointed with the magnetic phone case I bought from this company. They said it was eco-friendly, but the magnet part broke after less than a year. When I reached out to customer service, they didn't really help much. They just gave me a discount for a new case instead of fixing the problem. I bought a case from this company and I really dig the design. But dang, after a little while, the design started to fade. So I hit up customer service, and they were super cool about it. They offered me a free plain case, but I decided to snag a discount on an engraved one instead. Just got the engraved case today after only a week, and it's so pretty!
Phone case purchase
I recently bought a phone case and was bummed to find out that it was shipped from outside of Europe, which led to surprise import fees. It's pretty misleading and worrying that the shipping location wasn't made clear. I thought I was ordering from a European site, but turns out the product was actually coming from Canada. They should have been upfront about that from the start to avoid confusion and annoyance for customers. On top of that, I reached out to customer service to cancel my order because of the unexpected fees, but never heard back. It's frustrating as a consumer to not get clear communication and transparency from companies, especially when it involves extra costs like this.
Cases with black marks
I bought a bunch of cases and spent a ton of money on them, only to get stained ones covered in huge black marks. I feel totally scammed and ripped off by this company. I ordered directly from their site, it was my first time ordering, and I had them shipped all the way to Europe. It's not even worth my effort to send them back, even if that's an option. This company is seriously terrible and there's no way I'm ever buying from them again.
Phone case purchase
I recently bought a phone case from this company, and I have to say I am really disappointed with the quality of the product and the customer service they provided. After just a few months of using it, the glue on the case gave out, causing the back of the case to separate from the sides. That should not happen with a product that's supposed to keep my phone safe. Besides the product's poor quality, I tried contacting customer service twice in the last two weeks about this problem, but I haven't gotten any response. It's really frustrating and disappointing to not hear back or get any help from the company. Overall, I wouldn't recommend buying from them because their products are low quality and their customer service is lacking.
Warranty replacement
I've been trying to get a replacement under warranty for weeks now, but I haven't had any luck. It's like they just vanished or maybe they just don't care anymore. The product is really good, but if you run into any problems, good luck getting any help.
Sustainable phone case
The sustainable materials in this phone case are awesome, but the case itself is not so great. I've been using the same phone and case for seven years without any problems, but once I switched to this brand, things went downhill. My phone screen has cracked twice since I started using this case, which never happened before. Even the finger rest thing on the case melted off, which is pretty disappointing. Misleading EU Redirect
The company sends EU customers to what looks like a site in the EU, but then ships the product from the USA or Canada and charges really high import fees. It's so confusing and not fair, and customers feel like they've been tricked.
Clear backing rubber edge phone case
My Pela phone case fell apart after just a year, even though the warranty promised it would last longer. It was a letdown because I paid a pretty penny for it. The clear back and rubber edge just completely split up. The finger grip is solid, but kind of a bummer that it can't be taken off. If I wanted a new case, I'd have to shell out for a new grip too. I shot the company an email asking about the durability of their cases and if mine was just a dud. It's been 3 days and still no response. With that kind of customer service and seeing other reviews, I'm thinking twice about buying from them again.
Clear phone case with pressed flowers
The first phone case I got looked nice, but it didn't last long because the clear backing started to come off. So, I ordered a different case, but the holes didn't match up with my phone. I reached out to customer service, had to confirm my address a bunch of times, and eventually had to ask for a refund because they couldn't fix the problem. I didn't even get an apology, just a partial refund. I was pretty bummed out by the whole thing.
