My visit to the optical store was alright. The staff was nice, but ordering online was a total mess. I had no idea where my order was at because it always said "being processed." It was frustrating not knowing and made me wonder if their online system was really up to par.

Shimano Ultegra disc brake shifters & calipers
Installing these Shimano Ultegra disc brake shifters & calipers was a real pain because I needed to shorten the hoses. But the worst part was that the brass barbs I needed weren't in the kit. I contacted customer service at Merlin Cycles for help, hoping they would just send me the missing parts. But instead, they suggested I cut the barbs out of the hoses myself. It was a messy and frustrating process that ended with brake oil everywhere and me feeling let down. Overall, the lack of parts and unhelpful customer service experience has put me off from buying from Merlin Cycles again in the future.
